Sustain Cebu is a web-based knowledge portal on sustainability and competitiveness for various industry clusters based in the Visayas, Cebu in particular. It is a project of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), AFOS Foundation for Entrepreneurial Development Corporation and Asia Society for Soacial Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST).
The project seeks to increase the competency of businesses, investors, industry associations, local and national government agencies, tertiary level students and consultants through the following:
• Establish a web-based knowledge portal on sustainability and competitiveness for various industry clusters based in Visayas particularly Cebu; and
• Promote best practices amongst industries and serve as a repository of information for universities and business membership organizations.
CCCI – Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Founded in 1903, Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization of businessmen, merchants, professionals and entrepreneurs that aims to be the driver of Cebu’s business growth by strengthening the capabilities of its members through advocacy, linkages and synergy moving towards global competitiveness of Cebu and its people. CCCI provides its constituents, even non-members, services that address various business needs; these include business development, external affairs & relations, and other services aimed at strengthening Cebu’s business community.
AFOS Foundation for Entrepreneurial Development Cooperation
AFOS Foundation for Entrepreneurial Development Cooperation is a non-profit organization founded by the members of the Federation of Catholic Entrepreneurs (BKU). AFOS supports capacity building of business associations and chambers, microfinance, diffusion of Catholic social teachings and building free and just societies oriented to the German concept of “social market economy”. Aside from the Philippines, it currently has ongoing projects in Nigeria and Ghana, Africa.
